Women in Livelihood Development’s team held another radio discussion at Wiase FM and Radio West Africa under Star-Ghana Foundation’s AVID project on Promoting Women’s access to productive resources and participation in public spaces which is being implemented in the Banda District.
The objective for the radio discussion was to advocate for the recognition of women as key stakeholders in national development. Teams were formed and concurrently had a panel discussion at the two radio stations. The resource persons held a discussion about the challenges women face in participation, the economic opportunities for women to enhance national development, educational opportunities for Women empowerment and the various ways women can develop their capacity.
